Canada Goose makes nest in front of Brampton courthouse

TORONTO, Ont. – If you are heading to the Brampton courthouse, you’ll have to take a bit of a detour near the front doors of 7755 Hurontario Street.
Nearly four weeks ago a Canada Goose started to nest in the traffic island outside the court, and now, a male goose is standing guard.
The Ontario Society for the Protection of Animals told the Toronto Star that it is against the law to disturb a nesting Canada Goose.
Canada Geese typically nest for up to four weeks, and with the court nearby, it’s likely nobody will interfere.
