Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have separated

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have announced they are “amicably separated” after a 14-year relationship.
They have two children, Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 9, but never married.
In a statement to ET Online, Depp’s publicist says they ask people to respect their privacy, and the privacy of their children.
Tuesday’s announcement follows widespread reports earlier this year that the couple’s relationship was on the rocks, although Depp denied rumors of a split to British newspaper The Sun in May.
Depp, 49, began dating French singer, actress and model Paradis, 39, in 1998, following his split from British supermodel Kate Moss. The couple appeared together in Roman Polanski’s 1999 film The Ninth Gate.
The couple had set up homes in France, Los Angeles and on a private island in the Caribbean.
