Health Canada is warning parents and caregivers that the KidCo Peapod infant travel bed poses a suffocation risk.
The federal agency has received two reports of infants rolling over and getting their faces trapped between the mattress and the side of the product, posing a suffocation hazard.
Babies under 12 months of age should not use the bed, Health Canada advised.
Instead, babies should be placed in a crib, bassinet or cradle that meets Canadian safety regulations.
A recall has not been issued.
