Bouncers stabbed at Guvernment nightclub

A man is under arrest after three bouncers were stabbed in a fight at The Guvernment nightclub early Saturday morning.

Police say a fight broke out in the club on Queens Quay East at Jarvis Street around 2:30 a.m., and when the bouncers tried to stop it, a man stabbed them with a knife. The suspect himself wound up with minor injuries to his hands.

All are expected to recover.

Officers arrested the suspect and seized the knife as evidence.
