Hundreds of people across Toronto attended Remembrance Day services to honour those who died in service to the country.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper marked the solemn day at Sai Wan Bay military cemetery in Hong Kong, where 283 Canadian soldiers are buried.

Honours in Toronto began with a sunrise ceremony at Prospect Cemetery on St. Clair Avenue West and continued with observances at Sunnybrook hospital, Old City Hall, Queen’s Park, civic centres, Fort York and many other locations.
