2 arrested after knife fight near Coxwell and Danforth

Two people have been arrested after a knife fight at a home near Coxwell and Danforth.
Police told CityNews they received a call for a home invasion on Sammon Avenue around 8:50 p.m., Saturday.
When they arrived on scene emergency crews found two people suffering injuries.
Police say knives were used during the fight and the 27-year-old homeowner was hit with a baseball bat.
A 29-year-old suspect was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in the back.
Police say the second suspect, a 17-year-old male, turned himself in on Sunday.
Matthew Rigby and the teenage male have both been charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, robbery, and weapons dangerous.
There has been no word on what caused the brawl but officials say the parties involved knew each other.
