Matt Damon will no longer go to the bathroom — at least according to a new public service announcement the Oscar-winning actor stars in to raise awareness for clean water.
Damon is the co-founder of Water.org, a site dedicated to raising awareness and funding for clean water throughout the world. He staged a press conference saying that he will not be going to the bathroom until sanitation was available to everyone.
In the video, Damon says that 2.5 billion people do not have access to clean water.
“More people have access to cell phones than clean water,” he said to a room packed with fake journalists.
The commercial encourages people to donate $25 to Water.org’s campaign, which says for that amount, one person can get clean water for life.
