Child pinned under vehicle in Pickering

A six-year-old boy is in hospital after he was pinned under a vehicle in Pickering.

It happened around 7 p.m. Saturday in the Finch Avenue and Liverpool Road area.

Police told CityNews the child slipped out of the car and became pinned under it.

He was transported to a local hospital where he will airlifted to SickKids hospital for further assessment.

Officials say the child’s injuries are non-life threatening.
