Cyclist injured in downtown hit-and-run

Police are searching for a vehicle after a cyclist was struck in the downtown core.

It happened around 8 p.m. in the Bloor Street West and Avenue Road area.

The 30-year-old cyclist suffered a minor wound to the head when he was struck by a vhicle which then fled the scene.

Police believe the vehicle went into an underground parking garage but have been unable to locate the driver.

There has been no description released of the vehicle.
