The documentary, “Bruce Cockburn: Pacing the Cage,” which celebrates the life and music career of Juno Award-winner Bruce Cockburn, opens at Toronto’s Carlton Theatre on May 23.

Music reporter Rudy Blair spoke with Joel Goldberg, the documentary’s director, about it.
