Bollywood actress Jiah Khan dies at 25

Bollywood actress Jiah Khan, who starred alongside Indian film industry’s top stars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, was found hanging at her apartment in Mumbai, a police officer said on Tuesday.
Deputy commissioner of police, Chhering Dorje, said the 25-year-old actress was found by her mother on Monday night. The exact cause of her death was yet to be determined.
“Nafisa Khan, who is known as Jiah Khan, was found hanging by her mother at around 10.45 p.m. local time at her resident on the first floor of Sagar Sangeet (apartment). Her body has been brought here and post-mortem will be conducted,” Dorje said.
In 2007, Jiah made her acting debut against mega star Amitabh Bachchan in the film Nishabd.
She also appeared in Aamir Khan starter Ghajini. Her latest movie was Housefull in 2010.
According to local media reports, Jiah was raised in England and was currently auditioning for work in India’s tinsel-town Mumbai.
