2 injured in downtown stabbing

Two men are in hospital after a downtown stabbing.

Paramedics told CityNews a 35-year-old man suffered a stab wound to the lower back and was transported to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Another male, of unknown age, suffered minor injuries.

Emergency officials were called to the scene at George and Gerrard streets just before 7:30 p.m. where they located the victims.

There has been no word on suspects.
