Pedestrian dies after Bathurst & Steeles crash

A pedestrian has died after he was struck by a car at Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue early Monday morning.
Toronto police say the 22-year-old man was crossing Steeles east of Bathurst around 1:30 a.m. He was struck by a westbound car in the westbound passing lane.
He died Tuesday morning.
He was not using a crosswalk, police say.
The driver remained at the scene.
No charges have been laid.
