Fire closes 2 floors of Etobicoke General Hospital

A fire that began in a linen closet closed two floors of Etobicoke General Hospital on Thursday morning.
Emergency crews were called to 101 Humber College Boulevard, near Finch Avenue West and Highway 27, around 12:40 a.m.
The fire was quickly extinguished but was very smoky, and eight patients were briefly sheltered on a TTC bus.
Ambulances were being rerouted to other hospitals while the building was assessed.
