Electricity bills set to rise next month

Electricity bills in Ontario are set to spike next month after the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) announced a three per cent increase starting November 1.

Three per cent will add about $4 to the average monthly household bill.

The increase is based on estimates for 2014 that include a higher price for natural gas, the OEB said.
