Police searching for suspect after armed robbery in Georgetown

Halton Regional Police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery at a Money Mart in Georgetown.
Police say the employee was confronted at gunpoint by the suspect while exiting the store Friday shortly after 9:15 p.m.
Before the suspect fled the scene, the employee was tied up.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, 6-feet-tall with a slim to athletic build and was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a dark balaclava and light-coloured pants.
Anyone with information is being asked to call Halton Police or Crime Stoppers.
