Leafs Kadri suspended 3 games for hit on Wild goalie

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nazem Kadri has been suspended three games for a hit on Minnesota Wild goalie Niklas Backstrom, Sportsnet confirms.
Backstrom had to be replaced by backup Josh Harding after Kadri crashed into him during the first period of last night’s game.
Kadri, who received a two-minute minor penalty for goaltender interference on the play, will forfeit $44,615.37 in salary.
