Pedestrian struck & killed by Oakville GO train

Halton Regional Police said a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a GO train on Friday morning committed suicide.
It happened around 2:35 a.m. in Oakville. Police say the eastbound GO train was near Fourth Line on the CNR line when the crash occurred.
There were no passengers on board and neither of the two crew members were injured.
Train service was restricted for approximately three hours but CN Police report no train delays will result from the service interruption.
