Copps Coliseum gets a name change

HAMILTON – Copps Coliseum is now history.
The home of the AHL’s Hamilton Bulldogs has been officially renamed FirstOntario Centre.
The City of Hamilton as well as Global Spectrum, which manages the arena, completed a 10-year naming rights agreement with FirstOntario Credit Union.
The American Hockey League’s Bulldogs’ first game in the newly-renamed arena will be on Saturday, Feb., 15 when they host the Texas Stars.
