The province’s Special Investigations Unit is probing a downtown crash that sent a man to hospital on Wednesday morning.
The SIU is called in whenever there is an incident involving police where there has been death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was involved in a pursuit with Toronto police moments before the crash.
He hit a parked car and then rolled his SUV at Dundas and McCaul streets just after midnight.
His injuries are believed to be minor. No other injuries were reported.
