Firefighters knock down east-end garage fire

Firefighters knocked down a garage fire early Monday in the city’s east end.
Crews were called to 48 Pape Ave. south of Queen Street East just before 2 a.m.
No one was injured.
Police said there is no evidence of arson at this time at Monday morning’s fire.
Police suspect an arsonist was responsible for a garage and two cars catching fire on nearby Curzon Street last Thursday.
