Scarborough shooting leaves 1 dead

Toronto police are investigating a fatal shooting in Scarborough.

Emergency officials say a 22-year-old man died at the scene in the Eglinton Avenue and Markham Road area around 3:45 a.m. on Monday.

He has been identified as Dillon Phillips of Toronto.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has any information on Dillon’s whereabouts for the last 24 hours prior to his death, to contact 416-808-7400.

No information has been released on suspects.
