Missing Toronto girl found safe in Ottawa

A four-year-old Toronto girl who was believed to be abducted on Friday morning has been found safe in Ottawa, police said.

Caylee Chicoine went missing after being seen with her mother, Ashley Chicoine, 29, around 10:30 a.m. at Sloane Public School, near Victoria Park Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East.

It’s not clear if police had located the woman as well and whether she would be charged.

No further details were available.
