Girl, 11, dies after head-on crash near Brantford

An 11-year-old girl is dead following a head-on collision involving an SUV and a car in Norwich, west of Brantford.
The OPP say the crash happened around 4:40 p.m. Saturday on Norwich Road between County Road 13 and Middletown Line.
Police say the young girl was in the SUV.
Several others suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
There has been no word on if weather was a factor in the crash.
Police continue to investigate.
