Toronto police are searching for five suspects after a stabbing at a Roncesvalles Avenue restaurant sent a man to hospital.
Officers were called to the scene at a restaurant north of Queen Street shortly after 11 p.m. on Thursday.
A fight broke out after a restaurant employee approached a group of rowdy customers asking them to quiet down.
That’s when the worker was stabbed once in the torso — reportedly with a steak knife.
The five suspects fled and are still on the loose. So far, no suspect descriptions have been released.
