Easter weekend: what’s open and closed

Easter weekend is here and before you hop out of the house take a look at our list to see what doors will be opened or closed.
What’s open:
- Eaton Centre is open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, regular hours on Saturday and noon to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday
- Pacific Mall will be open both Monday and Easter Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Ontario Science Centre, the Toronto Zoo, CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum and Ripley’s Aquarium are all open for the entire weekend with regular hours of operation
- TTC will have holiday service on Friday and regular service all weekend
- GO Transit will be operating on a their weekend schedule on Friday and will run on regular schedules on both Sunday and Monday
- The Bay (at Queen and Bay) will be open on Friday and Sunday from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Cineplex Movie Theaters are open regular hours
- Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens is open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday and Sunday
What’s closed:
- Square One, Vaughan Mills, Sherway Gardens, Fairview and Yorkdale shopping centres will be closed on Easter Sunday and on Good Friday
- Toronto Public Library branches are all closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday
- LCBO is closed Good Friday and Easter Sunday. More than 295 LCBO stores will open on Monday but with modified hours, click here to check your local store hours
- Beer Stores is closed Friday and Sunday and will have regular hours on Saturday and Monday
- No mail delivery on Good Friday and Easter Monday
- Government offices, including municipal buildings like Toronto City Hall, are closed Friday-Monday
- Banks will be closed Friday-Sunday, and will resume service on Monday
- Most grocery stores will be closed on Sunday
- Art Gallery of Ontario will be closed on Monday. The Art Rentals and Sales will be closed on Friday and Saturday but regular hours of operation of the gallery
