Power was shut off to subway tracks under the Bloor Viaduct overnight after reports of sparks and arcing electricity on the tracks.
Emergency crews were called to the scene around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Several people took to Twitter as sparks fell from the viaduct.
There has been no word on what caused the electrical short.
TTC said regular subway service would be ready for the morning commute.
