Work starts on Monday to extend the separated bike lanes on Richmond and Adelaide streets.
Flexible posts for the new lanes are being added to Richmond from Parliament Street to York Street and on Adelaide from Simcoe Street to Parliament.
Once finished, cyclists will have their own space on both streets stretching from Parliament in the east to Bathurst Street in the west.
Lanes are also being installed on both sides of Peter Street from King Street to Queen Street.
Both projects should be completed by the end of September, as long as the weather cooperates.
Watch for changes to on-street parking and stopping rules in the area.
