A Toronto man has been charged with first-degree murder in a fatal 2014 stabbing.
Dwayne Goodwin, 22, was killed on Sept. 8, 2014.
A fight broke out between a group of two males in the Danforth Avenue and Dawes Road around 5:20 p.m., police say, and two men were stabbed. Goodwin died in hospital. The second man was taken to hospital and released.
The two groups were known to each other before the fight broke out, police said.
Marcus Connell, 27, of Toronto, was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder.
Two teens had already been charged in connection with Goodwin’s death. Vaughan Shears, who was 19 at the time, and a then-16-year-old boy, have been charged with second-degree murder and attempted murder.
