Five hospitalized, one seriously, following crash on Highway 404

Five people have been taken to hospital following a serious crash on Highway 404.

Provincial police say the accident happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night when a vehicle going south crossed the median and struck a northbound car in the area between Major Mackenzie and 16th Avenue.

One person was transported to Sunnybrook’s trauma centre with serious injuries. Four others were taken to a local hosptial with non-life-threatening injuries.
