More charges for photographer accused of sexual assault

By News Staff

A photographer already accused of sexual assault is facing more charges, Toronto police said Friday.

Four more women have come forward with allegations dating back to 1994.

One girl was just 15 years old when the alleged assault occurred, police said. One woman was 26, and two others were 27 years old. The assaults took place between 1994 and 2014.

Mark Holland, 39, was first arrested on March 1 and charged with one count of sexual assault. On April 14, he was charged with four more counts of sexual assault.

The first woman who came forward, an 18-year-old, said she was sexually assaulted during a photo shoot.

The woman reported to police that she went to a man’s home in the Queen’s Quay and Yonge Street area around 1 p.m. on Feb. 20.

She began posing for the man, who then allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Police believe there are more victims.
