PJ’s Pets & Pets Unlimited will be closing their doors at 27 locations across Canada, 11 of which are located in Ontario, starting on Friday.
The stores will be offering closing discounts including 30 percent off all food, pet supplies and accessories.
“We are saddened to say that we are closing our doors after almost 50 years of serving the pet community across Canada,” said Brad Hamilton, Vice President of PJ’s Pets in a press release.
“Our business was able to thrive for so many years as a result of our loyal associates and amazing customers. We encourage our customers to take advantage of the extraordinary savings on all of our remaining merchandise.”
The press release did not immediately answer why the stores were closing.
Locations include stores in Brampton, Pickering, Toronto, Barrie, Vaughan, Markham, Peterborough, Burlington, Kitchener and Waterloo.
