Two people hospitalized after shooting at Yonge-Dundas Square

Two men are in hospital after a shooting in the downtown core early Sunday morning.

Officers arrived on scene at Yonge-Dundas Square at 1:20 a.m. after receiving a call for the sound of gunshots.

Police say a 21-year-old man was located on scene with a gunshot wound, suffering non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital. Another 24-year-old man walked himself to hospital with a gunshot wound.

The intersection of Yonge Street and Dundas Street East was closed for the investigation.

Police said they are still searching for suspects but did not release any description of what they are looking for at this time.
