Violent Vaughan robbery caught on tape, police searching for suspects

Police are searching for three suspects involved in a violent early morning robbery in Vaughan, which was caught on video.

The attack happened shortly after 2 a.m. on Sunday, July 24. Security footage shows three men robbing and assaulting a man while he was walking through a parking lot of nightclub on Interchange Way.

Seconds after the suspects surrounded the victim, one of the three punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground unconscious.

The suspects stole the victim’s cellphone and keys while he lied on ground and continued assaulting him with several kicks to his head.

York police say the victim remained unconscious on the ground for almost four minutes before police arrived and transported him to hospital. The extent of his injuries or his current condition have not been released.
