Man charged with manslaughter in Markham woman’s disappearance

A 21-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the disappearance of a 36-year-old Markham woman.
The family of Ying Chun (Annie) Li reported her missing after last seeing her on Sunday, June 12, near Denison Street and Markham Road.
She has not been seen or heard from since.
Police said that as a result of their investigation, they believe Li is dead.
On Aug. 2, a Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued for Jiarui (Jerry) Tang.
Police said that on Thursday, Tang was located at a home on Alicewood Drive in Markham and was taken into custody without incident.
