Driver flees east-end crash, other driver seriously injured

Toronto police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of an east-end crash that left a man with life-altering injuries.
The two-vehicle crash happened on Sheppard Avenue East and Brimley Road around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The driver of one of the vehicles, a man in his 50s, was rushed to hospital. Toronto police say he is expected to survive.
The driver of the other car ran away from the scene on foot.
The intersection is closed for the police investigation.
