1 dead after shooting, crash in Etobicoke

One person has died after a shooting and crash in Etobicoke on Thursday.

It happened shortly before 3 p.m. near Dixon Road and Islington Avenue.

Paramedics took the victim to hospital with life-threatening injuries and he was pronounced dead soon after.

There were reports one person fled on foot.

Police have yet to release any suspect descriptions.
