Hwy. 401 closed at Hwy. 25 in Milton this weekend for overpass demolition

Highway 401 is scheduled to be closed at Highway 25 in Milton this weekend to allow for an overpass to be demolished.
The 401 will be closed in both directions at Highway 25 starting Saturday at 7 p.m. until Sunday at 1 p.m.
Eastbound and westbound traffic on Highway 401 will be forced off at Highway 25, but drivers will be able to get back on using modified ramps. The modified ramps have a new paved section to allow drivers to continue in the same direction.
Drivers on Highway 25 who need access to Highway 401 will be directed to James Snow Parkway.
Eastbound and westbound 401 access to northbound Highway 25 will be closed, but access to southbound Highway 25 will be open.
GO Transit is advising passengers buses won’t be servicing the Milton carpool lot during the closure.
