Concern is growing for a Toronto man who has been missing for five days.
Dominic Kardasiewicz, 33, was last seen Friday night near Lansdowne Avenue and Bloor Street West. His parents say it’s out of character for him to be gone so long.
Kardasiewicz, who works as an animator downtown, spent Friday night at a local bar with a few friends before leaving on foot around 11:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, police released a photo of him stopping at a nearby Pizza Pizza shortly after. That’s the last trace of Kardasiewicz — and all other leads have come up empty.
“We checked all those routes to his home,” said Det. Dave Coffey. “We’ve canvassed with his neighbours, with his friends, with his family. They’ve all been spoken to.
“Some have been interviewed for history and background. We’ve checked his cellphone records. We’ve checked his bank records. We’ve checked with Uber to see if he has maybe taken a ride somewhere.”
Kardasiewicz is six feet two inches tall, unshaven, with a medium build, blue eyes, and short brown hair.
He was wearing a bright red, zip-up Adidas hoodie with white stripes on the sleeves, a light-blue and grey vintage T-shirt, grey knee-length shorts, and cream-coloured canvas Adidas running shoes. He has a tattoo of a revolver on the back of his left calf.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
