Toronto police say two men have been charged after a woman’s car was surrounded by a group of people near Harbourfront.
Officers were called to the scene at Bay Street and Harbour Street just after 5:30 p.m. to reports that pedestrians had been struck.
A further investigation revealed that it was not a collision and that a car had been surrounded by a group of people while one man jumped on the hood and another smashed in a passenger window.
The woman in the car fled to avoid being injured and waited for police a short distance away.
Paramedics say one man suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Both men have been charged with mischief.
