Car plows into front porch during 5-vehicle collision

One person was taken to hospital after five vehicles were involved in multiple, possibly related collisions on Keele Street near Highway 401.
Police initially responded to a call for a vehicle that had crashed into a home at around 12:30 p.m. in the Keele Street and Falstaff Avenue area.
No injuries were reported in that incident but one person was injured in a second collision in the same area involving two other vehicles.
A witness tells CityNews it all began when one car attempted to make a U-turn on Keele.
A second car swerved to avoid the first vehicle, lost control and crashed into a third car. The third car then crashed into the porch of a nearby home.
A tow truck that was rushing to the scene then reportedly hit another car, leading to another crash.
Paramedics say one person was transported to a local hospital in serious but stable condition.
