Two people were seriously wounded and a third had minor injuries after a shooting inside an apartment building in the city’s west end.
Emergency crews were called to the scene near Tandridge Crescent near Albion Road on Tuesday morning after reports of people screaming and multiple shots heard.
Police said two victims were found suffering serious gunshot injuries.
Paramedics said one of the victims, a man in his 20s, suffered a single gunshot wound. The second victim, also a man in his 20s, had been shot multiple times.
A third victim, a woman in her 30s, suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound.
Police are not searching for any suspects.
A police dog located the gun in some bushes in front of townhouses located across the street from the apartment building.
Braeburn Junior School has placed under hold and secure as a precaution but it has since been lifted.
