3 arrested, 6 sought in connection with stick fights in Brampton

Peel police have arrested and charged three men and are looking for six others in connection with a series of stick fights in Brampton.

The fights, which were captured on video and posted on social media, took place in various locations between December 2017 and June 2018.

With the public’s help, officers were able to identify those involved.

They arrested three Brampton residents, Gurpreet Singh, 31, Lovepreet Singh. 19, Arpinder Gill, 20, and charged them with several counts of assault, assault with a weapon, break and enter and weapons offences.

Six men are still at large: Parminder (Dhali) Singh, 30, Jatinder (Cheema) Singh, 25, Vishavjeet (Vishav) Singh, 21, Opinderjeet (Opinder) Sandhu, 20, Amritpal (Kamboj) Singh, 21, Raja (Raja) Waraich, 37.

Police are asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of these men to come forward.

Five men have already been charged in connection with a brawl on Dec. 10.
