A 33-year-old man who has been missing since Monday has been found, and is now safe at home.
Brandon McRae disappeared around 2 p.m. in the area of Danforth Avenue and Don Valley Parkway.
His sister — who says McRae lives with autism — reported him missing around 8 p.m. after he failed to show up at home.
His sister said he had never gone missing before. He helps deliver prepared meals to residents in his neighbourhood and missed a delivery on Monday afternoon. He had left his wallet and cellphone at home, which he often forgets.
She said McRae, who moved to Toronto in May, got lost while walking and was afraid to ask for help.
He slept at a shelter overnight, and on Tuesday morning someone saw him near Broadview Station and recognized him from news coverage.
The Good Samaritan was able to help him find his way home.
