Woman seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in Scarborough

A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Scarborough.

Police were called to the intersection of Kennedy Road and Sheppard Avenue Road just after 4:15 p.m. Friday.

Paramedics tell 680NEWS the victim suffered serious injuries, but non-life-threatening injuries in the collision.

Roads were closed in the area as police investigated but they have since reopened.
