1 critical after fire at TCH highrise in Scarborough

One person has been rushed to hospital in critical condition and another suffered minor injuries in a fire at a Toronto Community Housing highrise in Scarborough, paramedics confirm.

Crews rushed to the building at 140 Adanac Drive near Eglington Avenue East and Markham Road just after 4 p.m.

Police tell CityNews the more seriously injured person is male, but didn’t provide an age.

No further details were immediately available.
