Man injured in shooting at Sherbourne and Dundas

Police are on the hunt for a gunman after a shooting in the city’s downtown core.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday after reports of gunshots heard in the area.
Officers found a man suffering from serious but not life-threatening injuries.
“The victim was conscious and able to speak, but he had a gunshot wound to the abdomen,” Staff Sgt. Craig Somers said.
Police said a suspect was seen running away from the scene.
