The first day of spring is less than two weeks away, but it is going to feel a bit more like it by the end of the week.
After weeks of snow, ice and bone-chilling weather, temperatures are expected to be in the double-digits by Thursday.
From Monday to Wednesday, the highs will be near 2-4 C, but the temperature is forecast to soar to 12 C on Thursday. The downside is that it will be cloudy and windy with a chance of rain.
Milder weather will continue into Friday with a high near 10 C but colder air is expected to return for the weekend.
For all those counting down, spring officially arrives at 5:58 p.m. on March 20.
Last month, The Weather Network said winter would continue to grip the country heading into March but that Canadians can expect an abrupt transition to spring. The network said Ontario can expect more wind storms and snowfall leading into March.
