A man has suffered non-life-threatening injuries after a shooting outside a pub in North York Thursday.

Police were called just after midnight to Marlee Avenue near Glencarin Avenue to the sound of gunshots.

The victim reportedly suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taking to hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

The shootout reportedly began when someone inside a Jeep outside the pub starting firing at a man standing outside.

A friend of one of the pub’s bartenders tells Carl Hanstke a bullet almost hit her inside the pub, but she ducked down to take cover. A bottle the bartender was holding and put down before taking cover was hit by the bullet and exploded.

At least 8 gunshots caused damage to the pub’s door and front window. The Jeep was also found outside with bullet holes.

Police say 15 shell casings were found inside the Jeep.

Officers say three to four males were seen fleeing the area, but no suspect descriptions have been made available.
