Woman in life-threatening condition following stabbing

A woman was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after she was stabbed in the Dufferin Avenue and Rogers Road area, police said Saturday.

Police said they responded to a stabbing call near Westmount Avenue and Rogers Road at around 7:30 a.m.

When police arrived, they said they found a woman with serious injuries and requested EMS rush to the scene.

Police said they have one person in custody.

There have been no details about the suspect released.
